In early 2019, The Service Collaborative contracted with Daemen College's Institute for Government and Non-Profit Innovation, Training and Evaluation (IGNITE) to complete a new strategic plan.

The process was intentionally designed to enable Board, staff, and community volunteers to engage in rich and meaningful discussions about the organization's mission, vision, and values as well as its future direction. The process was also data-drive -- allowing participants to develop critical insight into how The Service Collaborative of WNY is perceived by its staff, partners, and peers as well as to clarify its role and function within the larger health and human service community. 

The draft plan was presented to the The Service Collaborative Board of Directors in early fall 2019 and was approved shortly thereafter. The Board of Directors has assumed responsibility for implementation of the plan and will monitor these efforts to ensure quality and consistency.
