A term of service with AmeriCorps is a year-long paid opportunity. Most service years offer a $1,000 monthly living allowance that is paid bi-weekly in the form of direct deposit. TSC service opportunities also come with additional benefits, including: basic health insurance, childcare, and more. Most members will also qualify for public benefits, including: SNAP (food stamps) and HEAP (heating assistance).
