Beds for Buffalo's Story:

Beds for Buffalo addresses a critical community need by mobilizing community volunteers to construct and assemble twin beds for children in-need. The project also aims to increase awareness of the challenges of child poverty in the Western New York region. Since 2017, Beds for Buffalo has built 280 twin beds with the help of 950 volunteers, completing 3,200 hours of service. Beds for Buffalo will build 200 beds in 2019-2020.

Each bed is made up of 17 unique pieces of lumber. Each bed has been touched by 10-15 volunteer hands during the building process.
